Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge after Oreo install

Jul 1, 2018 8:08AM PDT

Nothing works properly. YouTube crashes all the time.
I've had this device for over a year and never had a problem. Now, it just sucks.
This is a Verizon Oreo install. I did one factory reset and it worked for a while but soon the wifi slows down and nothing will load.
How can I do a downgrade? I can find nothing on web to help.
And, will a Verizon store tech be of any help?
Thanks in advance for any clue as to what I should attempt.

You may have to jump ship.

And look at alternative roms from forums like XDA Forums. It's a shame this happens but when it does you either suffer and wait for the next update or jump ship.

Before you jump ship be sure that apps you installed are removed for a test run. Those free apps usually are AD SUPPORTED and can kill overall performance and eat at your time on battery power.

Samsung S7 Edge Oreo update
Jul 2, 2018 7:10AM PDT

I updated the same phone on Sprint about a week and a half ago and experienced no issues of any kind. Occasionally, updates don't install correctly. Could have been any number of reasons. My suggestion is to factory reset the phone and try to reinstall the update. My phone never experienced any application or performance issues of any kind to my knowledge. I wish you the best of luck.

Finally, it is working. The issue was in the WiFI networking. Global turned off, 4G was off too.
Why would an update turn off stuff that was working?
Anyway, back to a working S7e.
