Question

Samsung Galaxy S5 or iphone 6?

Dec 11, 2014 1:48AM PST

Iphone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5 maybe are the most high ended smartphones this moment. But many of their specs are the same between them. So, I want to know which one is the most preferable and why. Thank you!

I think "What matters to you!"

Forget specs, is there any reason for one or the other to you? Only you matter here. For me I need an Android for the office since we work on Android apps. Soon I may need to add an iPhone.

I prefer Android

Android includes innovations and Samsung offers prestige on its devices. Unfortunately, Apple is waste of money. Nothing innovative on new iphones. I believe that iphones are so expensive because Apple invests so much on marketing and advertising its devices.

Samsung can keep their stuff?
Dec 12, 2014 1:56AM PST

Samsung's Knox has been a plague for some users so the prestige must be in folk's minds. Samsung was a return item for my neighbor due to Samsung bone headed attempt to force registration of a tablet. Samsung's services were down for 3 days in which the tablet was unusable.

If you want Android, you may want to ignore Samsung. They don't get it.

Hey R.Proffitt,

Thanks for replying! Let me ask you something, what's your opinion about LG G3? Do you prefer it? Do you think is better than Samsung Galaxy S5?

Answer
both are good

both are good phones. apple is a bit better with security. but android can do and access more. what are your needs? if you need storage space for your movies, pictures and music then android is the best because you can add a 128 gig microsd card to the S5. you are stuck with with comes in the phone with apple. Reason I say apple is more secure, is the thief cannot pull the battery to prevent tracking. Also apple has extremely tight control over what it allows through their store.

I have the note three because I need the storage space due to the lack of access to wifi. cannot afford the data plan to cover my usage. I did have an iphone before it and would ONLY consider switching back if it included a microsd card.

Galaxy Note 3 - Very good choice!

Hi renegade600,

I agree with you and I would like to add that Galaxy Note 3 is one the most complete smartphones in the market and also includes many innovations. My personal opinion is that Android smartphones are more flexible compared to iphones. On the other hand, iphones, though limited with what they offer, have better functionality and well-designed apps.
