Question

Samsung Galaxy s4 App data issue

Apr 6, 2016 5:54PM PDT

Hi, i have a Samsung Galaxy s4 and am running low on space. Usually in this situation id delete a few unused apps and clear the app cache, however whilst this has given me a bit of space it hasn't solved my issue. When looking at the storage settings and being presented with the what's taking up how much space thing, it's showing my app data to be around 6GB, despite my largest app being 400mb and when all are added together it barely reaches over 2GB. So where is the rest of this mysterious app data coming from? Any help would be appreciated Happy

You have to dive in and find out what's up. Now there is a factory reset that wipes it clean so you can start over if you can't find what's using the space.
