Make it a warranty issue.

https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/812849 and other sites contain this complaint. I can only guess you want a fix now and not when Samsung and the carrier gets around to it.

Unless you can wait, head to the carrier and make it a warranty or return issue.

And the issue is a real one. If there is no international warranty and I think they did answer you. Moving past that you could check out XDA Developers (see google) and see if they have other roms.

Emails are the slowest, most unreliable way to work this.

But today folk expect it to work. I don't. Remember I think they gave you the answer that it's not covered so to address this anyway you break ranks and run over to another ROM such as what may be at XDA Developers.

I feel you did get an answer. And now you have closed the door on a good exit so it's between you and Samsung. My bet is you won't be happy.

Sorry if I was unclear.

As you don't want to jump ship (XDA Developers) then it's between you and Samsung. My bet is you won't be happy. Let's hope I lose this bet.
