Question

Samsung Galaxy S3 Bluetooth problem

Jan 29, 2014 10:40AM PST

The phone recently updated to Android V 4.3. Since that time I have been having trouble with the bluetooth. I can connect to a device and it days it is connected but, my device will only receive calls. not iinitste them. as the app running the device says it can not find it. If I turn Bluetooth off and on again everything is fine until the device is turned off and on s
again. Anyone know of a fix nor a workaround to fix the problem or am I just going.to have to wait for V 4.4.

The speaker is a Motorola Roadster 2. Motorola says that it is for Motorola phones and can not help as I amtrying to use a D

Samsung phone. Everything works fine when I use a Motorola phone. The phone pairs properly and shows that it is paired with the Roadster. If I push the button to initiate. A call, the app that runs everything ( My otospesk).
, shows that it is scanning trying to find my Roadster. Have tried pairing and reconnecting rebooting and wiping cache and no luck. It will receive and read texts OK just not imitate either. if I turn off Bluetooth and then turn it back on it will work properly until the Roadster is turned off. All was well until the phone updated to Android V 4.3, so something is broken with that.

A classic problem.

As they tell you it takes a Mot phone and that works, then I'm guessing you want to see what can be done.

Since it's an Android phone (?) from Samsung, you might head to XDA Developers and see if they offer a rooted ROM that might work.

Functionality problems are common in Samsung android phones post updates. Most problems sort out after another software update through kies. You might as well can try this.
