Question

Samsung Galaxy S2 - storage space running low

Mar 14, 2014 12:20PM PDT

Hi there!

I hope somebody can help me.

I'm having trouble with my galaxy s2 phone. It has been warning me for months that my storage space is running low, and I have had to delete photos, apps, texts etc, just to be able to use it. So today I bought a 8GB SD card, and thought that it would fix all my problems Wink
I'm not able to install any new applications from play store. I've moved all files from "my files" to the SD card, but that only clears out space of my USB storage.

How can I clear out my device memory (total space 2 GB, available space 25MB)? How can I place my future apps rather on the SD card then the device memory?

Hope somebody can help me...my phone is really getting on my last nerves!

Cache

This might be due to two things:

1.Seems like your phone has a lot of cache and historical data stored up. Installing a cache cleaner might solve this problem.
2. Your 2GB is really filled up with a lot of apps that cannot be moved to the SD card. Rooting the phone might solve this problem.

Hope this helped. Peace! Happy
