Ask those cellular providers what the next step is. Sometimes you find them deny you access to their network in some way.

Check the specifications chart
by genebean66 / September 21, 2011 4:12 AM PDT
In reply to: WCDMA request

When I was looking at the reviews and I looked at the specifications chart;rnav
My questions is does the phone goes both ways that you can use GSM & CDMA,?? Since C-net doesn't give you a simple clear answers on their reviews meaning YES! That you can use GSM & CDMA! I wanted to make sure if the specifications chart said it goes both way GSM & CDMA. In case At&t does gets T-mobile I been hearing alot of at&t crappy service, So if at&t try to screw me since T-Mobile is gone, I want to jump to CDMA carriers who got better service and better rates, That's why I was hoping if the phone do goes both ways, So I don't have to get a new phone and be stuck on a 2 year contract..

GSM Only
by wwwertdf / September 21, 2011 12:51 PM PDT

As far as i know (Somebody correct me if i am wrong)The Galaxy S only operates with GSM carriers as such i believe that it will only operate with AT&T and T-Mobile. WCDMA is the technology used for your 3g.
