Resolved Question

Samsung Galaxy Fit- retrieve files from phone.

Aug 16, 2014 7:54AM PDT

I had a Samsung Galaxy Fit and it stopped working for some reason. I had some memos on it though that I really need. I am looking for a way to be able to retrieve the memos on it with it working. I also have the Micro SD card that was in the phone, but I am not sure if the files that I want are saved on it because it has so many files and I don't know where to look.

Usually found with a search.

I can't guess what you tried or your PC skill level but almost all PCs can search a card for files that contain a key word like KATSUP or the word you know is in the memo. No one may guess where or if the file is on the card but not to repeat prior discussions about not backing up. Well, now you know why.

Let the PC search these files.

I have tired to search for the memos on the micro SD but i don't think they are on there but I will keep trying. Do you know what is the default saving settings for the galaxy fit phone? meaning is setting to save the memos on the on phone memory or is it on the micro sd?

Sorry but Android is all over the map on that.

I am guessing the phone is dead and you are not having much luck. If so, drivesavers.com may be next.
