Samsung Galaxy Ace Debug Mode

by ianbillmorris / March 3, 2011 6:04 AM PST

Just got one of these on PAYG from Three and I am impressed. A big step up from my HTC Magic and for the price amazing. However I have one annoyance with it

Every time I plug it into a USB port it activates USB Debug mode, This changes the way USB functions and to get the device to act as a normal USB Mass Storage device I have to disable it. Three tell me that it is a feature rather than a bug but I really cannot see why a user would want debug mode activated. Even after turning off the tick box in settings to deactivate debug it will not stay deactivated and the next time I plug it into a PC goes straight into debug again.

Anyone else got one of these and do they have the same issue?

The Moto Z2 Force is really thin, with a fast processor and great battery life. It can survive drops without shattering.
