can anyone please tell me how to copy stuff over to the sd card from the galaxy ace as the phone memory is full and it doesn't even have many apps on it.

In this case you uninstall apps and clear app data.

As mentioned by Bob you have to delete apps from your phone memory or else you can go and click on "clear data" on individual app but do not do it for networking apps like "Whatsapp" else your account will be deleted and you will have to log in again.

"Whatsapp" was spammed so much that I won't go near it today. I'd clear its data and uninstall on sight.
