I apologize for your experience thus far. If you could post your transaction number, I'd like to see if we can investigate this issue for you.
Need your help please!
Bought the Samsung RF220NCTASR/AA, it's our 2nd one in 2 weeks.
The deli (pantry) drawer (which is below the fruit and veggie drawers) does not slide in and out easily. We have to pull it out with force. The drawer then rubs and scratches the bottoms of the fruit and veggie drawers, which are right above it when we try to close it.
Took forever for Samsung to take us seriously. A technician was dispatched from Samsung (3rd party), he looked at it, took all the shelving apart and it seems to be a design flaw. Their solution? Stick a 2m sticker between the racks! This is a brand new fridge; the 2nd one has the same problem.
They also told us not to put anything heavy on the glass shelf that is right above the fruit and veggie drawers. Well, it sticks with absolutely nothing in the fridge; we took a video when the fridge was empty to prove out point. And, when there is a small amount of fruit and veggies in, it adds additional weight and therefore the deli/pantry drawer is jammed.
We are NOT putting very heavy items on the shelves or in the drawers. We have to treat this fridge as if it were a kid's play fridge, which is crazy!
It appears that the glass shelf that is above the fruit/veggie drawers, which cannot be moved, along with those drawers, needs to be set a bit higher. This cannot be fixed by us. It's a design flaw!
Why should we have to resort to putting some kind of sticker/label on it, and how do we know this will resolve the issue.
The glass shelve and the fruit and veggie drawers cannot be moved. It is already pre-set by Samsung!
The store we purchased it from switched it with a brand new fridge (same model), same problem!
For now, we took the deli/pantry drawer completely out (off its rollers) and bought a huge dollar store plastic tray to use in the meantime.
We are done trying to fix this with Samsung, they don't seem to care.
