So I recently saw the Samsung 32" LN32A540 at Costco. It didn't have information about the resolution on the box so I looked it up on Samsung's website. The webpage claims it is 1080p with a resolution of 1366 x 768. 768 should mean it is 720p. Why is Samsung claiming this TV is 1080p when it doesn't have a full resolution of 1900 x 1080? I thought that was the definition of being 1080p.
Everything else seems to be the same as the LN32A450 (the new 720p model), so how can they claim 1080p?
