So super long story short, I broke the hard drive on my notebook and I can't get Samsung to send me the firmware disc to reformat the new one. After 4 hours of "dealing with Samsung Executive Relations department" and a few more hours of Technical support. The only answer I have gotten is "We sent it, you didn't get it, shouldn't have bought a computer from us sucker". So now I'm looking for any alternatives on getting Windows 8 firmware from someplace, I was told my only option it to buy a illegal version of Windows 7 because of the Samsung license on 8. Ideas? By the way I have been dealing with this on every level of Samsung, for 3 weeks, so I'm thinking they might not be so interested in helping anymore.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
