Samsung ES8000 TV impossible to unlock

Hello everyone,

I just bought a SAMSUNG ES8000 TV, fantastic toy. By the time i got home, my girfriend tried to set it up so she hit next on everything .. and put the TV in DEMO mode, where we cannot use any of the remotes (normal + smart voice sontrol). Now the tv could only be used with the pannel key in the back. Trying to fix it, she thought to change all the setting she found, so she set the PANNEL KEY LOCK setting to on....... sad moment.

Now the TV is in DEMO mode, with the the remote control not working and pannel key in the back disabled.

Does anyone know a way to reset the TV or unlock this situation? I am really stuck at this point.. and any help is very welcome.

Thanks for your kind words. I looked around in the user manual for this a bit, and I didn't find anything to fix this. So my guess is your friend got into the service menu somehow. So you'll likely need a service tech to come out.
