General discussion

Samsung Download Centre (UK)

Hi,

I have been trying to update the firmware on both my UE40B7020 and BD-P1650 for the past few days, but I cannot access the Download Centre online ("Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage")

Is this down at the moment, and are there any alternative download locations for these files?

I have also tried updating the Blu Ray player directly via ethernet, but that also fails to connect to the download server.

Any help is creatly appreciated.
John

Thanks

Thanks for the help - 'Down for everyone or just me' shows the site as being down. The site seems ok until you try to access the files.

For anyone else having this problem, I managed to get around this by removing the "org." from the start of the link to the file (http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.com/downloadfile/ContentsFile.aspx?CDSite=UK&CttFileID=2242188&CDCttType=FM&ModelType=N&ModelName=UE40B7020WW&VPath=FM/201002/20100227164116000/T-CHU7DEUC.exe)

The "org." seems to be present in the addresses for all files - not sure what the issue is, but at least I can get round it.

Thanks again for your replies.

@ JohnnoMoon

Thanks to you.......you are a gent and a scholar to come back and say how you got around the problem!

I too could not get to the downloads after trying for many days - removed the ".org" and got the file straight away......obviously the site builders for Samsung have got the link wrong

Thanks again
