SXRD

For me, it would be an easy choice. I can't buy DLP because I see the rainbows. It's unfortunate since so many rear and front projectors use the technology. I saw 300 at a DLP theater, and I even saw the rainbows there.

Of course, given any choice, I would (and did) choose plasma. Hard to beat the picture quality of a flat-panel...

I too see the rainbows since I have astigmatism. Even if I didn't I think SXRD would win on PQ. Standard def signals look better on the SXRDs too.

Samsong d.l.p. WHY? I have a Toshiba d.l.p. which is the same technology and same picture quality as the Samsung. I find that the d.l.p. sets are so much sharper.MY opinion only Also I have had many friends and family come over for football etc. and no one has ever seen the rainbow effect But in my case I wanted the biggest screen size on the market 72" And The d.l.p. gives you the biggest bang for your buck I had to special my Toshiba 72HM195 I have never seen on on display or even in any store I saw mine on demo in a small mom and pop vidio store and bought it on the spot If you are interested check the Toshiba out because rite now you can buy one with stand for a tad over $3000 And check out reviews they are a 5 star t.v.. The only problem I had is lamp blew after 4 months Toshiba sent me out a upgraded lamp in 2 days FACTORY DEFECTIVE and I was given a extra year on lamp warrenty that was over a year ago and picture is still super brite I even set lamp power to low Now please I dont want to bash Sony but picture is way to soft and lacks detial steweeeee
