Question

Samsung DLP TV Model # HL-S6187W ( t.v. issues)

Sep 27, 2018 2:21PM PDT

So a couple weeks ago the tv started showing signs of the need to replace the bulb ( dim lighting) Then it wouldn't come on, and the 3 led lights saga began. I went and purchased the new bulb, took out the bottom section in the rear to blow and vacuum all the dust. Replaced the bulb, the one yellow led light blinked for a few seconds and it came on, for two days. On the 3rd day the 3 led lights came on, tv would not turn on, nor did the bulb light in the rear, no noise or sound to speak of while attempting to turn it on. I left it unplugged for the following 3 days, it finally came on for 2 days straight and again it didn't turn on for the next 3 days..this has been happening for the last month. WHAT COULD BE THE ISSUE HERE? Any advice would be great. Thank you.

I can't guess why it's out there but grab. Do not delay.

Now turn to section 6.2 and see what it tells you the led code is. There's a lot of diagnostic trees there (6.1) so have at it.

Remember not one tech seems to pile in here as these sets are almost all dead.
