Samsung Customer Service is the Worst!

Bought a printer at Office Depot in Costa Rica about 6 months ago. It stopped working. Office Depot says it is Samsung's problem. Samsung won't do anything since it was purchased in Costa Rica. They give me phone numbers to call that don't work. Finally someone tells me to mail the unit back to the states. Are they kidding? Very disappointed in both Office Depot and Samsung since I know have a printer that does not work.

I find the moving products out of the country of purchase catches folk unaware that the warranties are usually only good in the country of purchase.

Live in Costa Rica.
Bought the printer at Office Depot in Costa Rica.
Office Depot will not help.
Samsung said I had to ship the printer to the U.S. even though I don't live there nor did I by the printer there.
I didn't move the printer from the country of purchase.

If you have a Transaction number that would be nice but the Ambassador is out on weekends and my reply is only to help fill in the missing details. The Ambassador's reach is only in the US and a litlle North but they have sent word to other countries so let's see what they do this time.

This is my second time to experience a broken big screen Samsung TV. What hit me this time is...they can't fix the problem due to discontinued spare parts. I only used my unit for more than 4 years and due to its big size it's difficult to dispose. So, it's been standing around the corner as a decor! Sure, Samsung provided compensation but it's just a fraction of the original price. No amount of compensation could pay for the stress I had with this Samsung TV. In short, the company's compensation program isn't fair!!

Weeks of being given the run around, being passed to "the next level",phone numbers that don't work, accused of buying a "bootleg" printer, etc. I don't hold out much hope. Surprise me!
