I bought a refrigerator in Mar 2013. In Jan 2017 the freezer stopped cooling. Long store short, it was fixed on Mar 24...two months without a freezer and refrigerator. Ive lost track how many phone calls to Samsung and the appliance repair shop I've made. I also had damage to my cabinets from the freezer leaking. The only right The only reason the refrigerator is fixed is through my persistence and the local repair shop. The amount of calls I've made to Samsung is beyond ridiculous. They elevated it to their executive customer service department, but when I called Samsung to talk to that department...they are an outgoing department only. I'm told they will return my phone call within 48 hours. My last phone call was in the middle of March. I haven't heard from Samsung since the middle of February. I have a food claim on file that they've had for almost 2 weeks. I'm trying to check in that status, but I can't even get that. I've never seen anything like this. I won't buy another Samsung product. Even if their products were great their lack of customer service is beyond believe
I am so frustrated with Samsung at this point & have received the run-around from their customer service so much that I have resorted to this. They have the worst customer service! I bought a new Samsung top load washer & paid a lot for it because I wanted a durable, large capacity washer for my family because we go through a lot of laundry. I paid $1317 for the largest washer they made with all the bells & whistles. Within 3 months of owning the washer, it exploded and flooded my house, which we had just finished a large renovation on. I spoke to Samsung and found out the washer I bought was recalled for this problem. They offered a rebate if I disposed of the washer & bought a new one, but it was only $900 which made no sense since the washer was only a few months old, they should have given me all of my money back. Okay, that's not even the worst of the problem. I made a claim with them for repairs to my house for water damage. I got them all the receipts and information they needed to get refunded what it would cost to repair or replace damaged items. This was back in November 2016. It is now the end of March 2017 and I still have not received any refund for damages and every time I call them, they either hang up on me, give me another number to call that doesn't work, they tell me I will get a call back from them & I never get a call back or they tell me they have no records of my claim even after I give them the claim # I originally was given when I submitted my claim. I've called & emailed them numerous times and have received nothing, but frustration! Do yourself a favor and don't buy Samsung products because if you ever have an issue, you will get zero customer support from them! Absolute worst customer service!!!
