Hi
I found page 93 and followed your advise. Unfortunately my "smart filter " is not lit up, so I can not click on it. Would you know why? I go to "Menu>camera>smart filter" (I can see it, but can not click on it)
would appreciate your help.

Hi canswiss,

Make sure the camera is not set to Smart Auto as this options allows the camera to change settings automatically.

Hi canswiss,

After speaking with the product specialist it appears this feature is not available for "movie" mode. Have you tried using different modes on the dial to see what unlocks this model?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I tried everything, not only movie, but the "smart filter" just is not lit up and when I scroll down, of course it goes to the next segment.
I'm a bit disappointed. I don't think it's me.

Hi canswiss,

I am very sorry for the inconvenience. If you could supply pictures of your menu screen where this option is grayed out I would be glad to forward this to the product specialist. Be sure to include the current shot mode you are using.

Over the years I've learned to keep the original with all the details and as better image processing was available I was able to do nice things such as apply dynamic contrast adjustment and more. If I had not kept the original then I would have not been able to do what could be consider magic in the 1990s.

Hi

what do you mean by saying: I kept all the original

I kept the User Manual too, but it does not tell me, why I can not click on the "smart filter"

Is something I have to defer to Samsung, the Ambassador and those that sell that camera.

As to my comments, I have used digital cameras since about 1990 with the Logitech Fotoman.

It's come a long ways but my replies is how I would get this done using the usual and free tools.
Let's hope your settings mystery gets solved as the manual seems to not match what you are seeing.
