Samsung never sells you a phone directly. The phones must be approved for use on the cellular carriers and if Samsung doesn't get that approval then it's not going to market.
I'll stop here since the reason behind this is not entirely Samsungs to make.

Being Samsung the only "decent" manufacturer to explore the dual sim market (the rest of the products are from low quality dodgy Chinese makes), and considering therefore that they have almost a monopoly, I was wondering why this phone (and the keyboard-less version) has only been released in India and Greece.
I've heard of it in the end of 2011, waited ages for it to be released in Western Europe, and after I got fed up waiting, I finally decided for buying it from a private seller from Greece, via ebay. It's a good phone, with the bad point that having been bought in Greece, I always have to select Latin alphabet before using the keyboard.
I would like to know, preferably from somebody working at Samsung, if this phone has been discontinued even before being released in Western Europe.
