Samsung Blue ray player keeps turning itself on

Hi,

I recently installed my samsung blue ray player to my Samsung LED tv and everytime i try turn the player off it turns itself back on ? Is there any reason for this and is it possible to disable what ever is causing this to happen ?

What model Blu-Ray and TV?

You might try disabling Anynet+ in both the menu of the Blu-ray player and the menu of the TV to see if that helps.

Samsung player keeps turning itself on

The blu ray is BD-C5300, i have disabled the anytime on both and even if i disconnect the HDMI cable from the blu ray player, it still turns itself on within 10 seconds of being turned off.

I'm sorry to hear that didn't work.

Unfortunately, I don't have any further troubleshooting on this symptom. The unit may require service. I'd recommend contacting the Samsung customer service center for further assistance.
