On FireSticks, other things and now this.
Before you call Hulu and Samsung you can do some of the things they may asks you to do.
1. Be sure the date and time is correct for your timezone in router and player.
2. Update the firmware in the player. This is not the same as the app update.
3. Set the DNS on either router or player to a google dns. Try 8.8.8.8
Why? I'm finding TWC's choice of DNS to be causing troubles.
If that's all done, time to call Samsung and Hulu. If folk don't report failures they don't know it needs fixing.
I’m all of a sudden having issues with getting Hulubtonplaybon this model. It’s been working for months and all of a sudden a week ago I started getting “Playback Failure” message. I’ve updated the app in the player. I’ve signed out and signed back in. Hulu plays on all my other devices (android, iPhone, laptops). It’s with all videos. It loads the app just fine. I’m getting all the videos to browse but none of them will play. Very frustrating.
