Resolved Question

Samsung Blu-Ray BD-FM59 Problem

Dec 22, 2014 10:50AM PST

I have had this blu-ray player for a little over a year and today it started pausing about every 5 seconds or so while playing discs. I tried the laser cleaner (which still paused during whole process) and different blu-ray disks. I am successfully connected to the internet through my router and can run programs like Netflix just fine. It's only with discs that this happens. Any help? This was a pretty big expenditure for me and I don't want to have to buy a new one if at all possible.

Thanks!

That's kind of what I figured. Thanks for the help. It looks like I will have to chalk it up as a lost cause. Thanks for your time.

April 4, 2013 looks like when it started shipping. These are rarely fixed OOW.

Check to see if it was bought with a CC as some extend the warranty. Also, call it in anyway and ask for a one time extension.

Folk have for a long time wrote it worked yesterday with cars too.
