While the HDCP cable could be the cause or firmware (which we know about) the fix I keep using is to connect with Component Video and Audio if there must be no blink.
Again, not to repeat all the prior discussions so I apologize if you are unaware of all that. It's usually the old HDCP HANDSHAKE or the cable.
I now own a PN59D8000 after samsung exchanged my old tv for this new one.
I have had this now for about 2 weeks.
This TV blinks, and it blinks the same way.
Watching tv, the picture will dissappear along with the sound, this only happens for about 3 seconds and then the picture comes back.
I had this problem on the PN58C8000, and samsung replace the power supply and the problem persisted and they exchanged my tv for this years model.
And now the problem is happening again.
Does samsung know of this problem and can this be fixed. I will be calling, but afraid they will exchange the unit for another and the blink problem will continue.
