I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue with your Blu-ray player.
If the player no longer recognizes Blu-ray discs after a firmware update, the best thing to do would be to contact the Samsung customer service center and explain to the agent what you posted here. They may be able to set you up for service to repair your unit.
A few days ago i updated the firmware on my player. now I cannot play any purchased bluray disks. Do you have any reports of this firmware being defective?
