samsung bd-p 1580

Hi
Just noticed the firmware upgrade 2.13 came out today. Has anyone tried it? What difference does it make?
I've been hoping for xvidhd, mkv, mp4 support and also reintroduce support fot dual layer avchd (because I've got loads of them).
I recently watched inception and the sound dropped a few times, so I'm hoping that'll get fixed too

Cheers in advance for all info received
Mattybut

update fixed Netflix...

We have a BD-P3600. on Wednesday, 12/15, Netflix stopped streaming. When trying to watch a movie it would not load and an error like "This title is not available for online viewing. Please choose a different title." would show. It would say that for every movie.

I've updated to 2.13, and now streaming movies is restored. I do not know of any other bugs that were fixed.

Note: This firmware is not yet available (12/18/2010) via the network update feature within the blu-ray player. Its only available to download and update via USB flashdrive.

update fixed Netflix...

chad300,

A maintenance update happened on Dec 15th, and lasted about 24 hours. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I'll look into the firmware. Is this for the U.S. or a different region?
