Samsung BD-ES6000 Firmware downgrade?

Hey,

Does anybody know how I can downgrade the firmware of my Samsung BD-ES6000 blu ray player? I got issues with playing some movies Sad

Bob is correct. There is no way to "downgrade" without the unit requiring service. Is it just blu-rays or both Blu-ray and DVD that you are having trouble playing?

Change the board that holds the firmware to an older version.

Please don't repeat all that's been written about Samsung firmware versions. It's one way. Samsung and others have yet to document or reveal a way back to an older version.

As to playing some movies, if a title on BluRay or DVD has issues, report it so Samsung can get working on the fix. If you don't report it, they won't know.
