Samsung BD-D5250C Firmware

by jason2schmidt / November 14, 2011 6:51 AM PST

On my Samsung BD-D5250C, firmware update message comes up. When I try to download the 001019 firmware on the player, I get a 800 Resource error.

My current firmware is 2011/09/01_001016. Can someone please provide a link to download 001019 firmware so that I can update the firmware via USB?

To avoid "bricking" a set, call in and ask them to walk you through it.

Customer Support

Thank you for this thread. I spent 2 hours online with customer service as well as 1 hour on the phone to update my firmware on my BD-D5250c (was using the 001015, which would drop my wireless connection repeatedly). Your online and phone technical service told me to wait for Samsung to update the webpage for the BD-D5250c with the new firmware, and did not offer to email me the firmware. They had no idea that the 5300 is the same model. I think your customer service needs to be educated about this costco model being a 5300 as they really had no answer for me which was satisfactory and wasted my time. Or you need to update the d5250c webpage to include the firmware updates. Such a waste of time for a really easy fix.
