I have a Samsung BDP (not your model though) and have no disconnect problems. I have a similar setup to you - except I use Mezzmo instead of Servio. You could try the free trial of Mezzmo and see if does the same to help isolate the problem. If it does the same, then I agree - your D5100 BDP seems to the problem. Another thing to try - check if your router has UPnP turned on in its settings. Turning UPnP off in your router often helps with DLNA streaming. Reboot your router after making any changes.
I bought a few weeks back, a samsung blu-ray player. It's the BD-D5100 model.
But since the beginning i'm experiencing problems to keep it connected to my DLNA network. It actually connect, and then disconnect like a minute later or even less. It doesn't matter if i play something, it just looses the connection, and disappear from the available devices.
- I'm using wired connection
- I'm using Serviio or Samsung All Share, same results
- I have a samsung TV which at the same time, and without any network changes, works perfectly with Serviio
- I've changed cable
- I've reset the device to make sure the config isn't the problem
I'm thinking more & more that the problem is device related.
Any advise or ideas ?
