Question

Samsung BD-1250 wont' reset!

by LEXPODS / August 22, 2011 6:20 AM PDT

I replaced my wireless router and need to get my BD player to "find" the new one. What do I do to reset the current setting so I can set up the new one?

I need to CHANGE the network connection for a new router.

No, I did that for my previous router, so there's already an access point selected, but that's not my router any more. When I select it, it tells me "AP not found." I need to be able to find ANOTHER network access point.

OK, I am reset, but system still can not find my new router.

OK, I switched to wired, then back to wireless, and I'm at square one - Access Point is "not selected." DCHP is On, DNS is Auto. As soon as I select "Access Point" I get a No Access Point message.

My new router is a Netgear N600 wireless dual band.

Two ideas.

1. Get within 20 feet of said router.

2. Check the router and be sure it's set to the USA region or it may pick wifi channels that are not possible with USA HDTVs.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
