Question

Samsung Ativ Q -

Feb 11, 2014 7:11AM PST

I read the quick review about the ATIV Q and am interested in learning more about where to buy one, but I can't seem to find any. I like the idea of both Android and Windows because then I won't need carry both. I like Android for the games but I need Windows for my job and I have a windows phone. I know ASUS has a dual OS but I wanted to research the ATIV also. Did this product ever come on the US market? Or if it didn't, do you when it may come on the market? Thanks.

6 months ago, this device was still up in the air due to patent issues surrounding the dual boot option. Rumors were that Samsung was actively trying to resolve this, and i'd guess the silence about the device currently is because they have no resolution, as of yet.

Samsung was expected to release a whole slate of new tablet products in Q1 of 2014, and fingers crossed, the ATIV Q might be one of them, or else a device meant to replace it... Definitely expect a 13.1 inch tablet soon, but whether it has dual boot, its hard to predict until we hear from Samsung.
