I have a samsung UN60ES7100 smart TV, and a Yamaha A720 receiver. I have tried using an optical audio cable to run sound from the TV to the receiver, and have also tried using the ARC function with a high speed w/ ethernet HDMI cord.
While I have gotten both methods to work and produce sound, the sound has brief skips, repeatedly. It makes it very difficult to watch anything, and there are brief moments of silence (about 1/10-1/4 second) at least 5-10 times per minute.
My TV is hardwired to the internet, to eliminate the possibility of diminished signal strength over wi-fi.
I have a blu-ray player that also has a netflix app, and the audio works flawlessly. It is just a very old blu-ray player, and the netflix interface is terrible, which is why I would prefer to use the TV.
PLEASE HELP!!! I am at my wits end here...
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
