Question

Samsung android galaxy j3 emerge headphone jack issue

Jun 17, 2018 5:37PM PDT

Hello, I can use bluetooth devices fine, but when I try to plug my phone into my cars aux cord it sounds like there is an added reverb type effect, like after the snares and hi hats there's a fading out type of sound. I'm wondering what is the cause of this? And how can I get rid of it!?

Why ??

Could be a faulty phone or the aux port on your car could be the issue. The best way to confirm is to use your phone plugged into a different device/vehicle aux port and a different phone on your car's aux port. Best wishes.

Ok

I've done both, the cars aux port works fine and headphones still sound all weird when I use them.

Since headphones sound weird too.

It's something in the phone. The support counters do try a factory reset if they can't find any setting they know of so at least you know what will happen at the support counter and be ready. That is, you need to be sure whatever is on the phone is on backups.
