Samsung and CEC control (Not Playing Nice With Each Other)

I was wondering if there is a way to make HDMI CEC play nice with my components.

tv: PN58C8000
Blu R: B6900

denon receiver 1911

My problem is that when I turn the blu ray player off, the CEC decides the TV input should automatcally revert to Coaxil input or tv input. Why can't this revert to an HDMI input that is being utilized for example the cable set top box (Rogers).
Or when i turn the receiver on it automatically turns on the blu ray player and then the tv turns to that input.
