Samsung A750 turning on & off

I had a similar problem with the TV randomly changing channels. Try cleaning the touch pad with clean cloth and some screen cleaner. Any grease or smears can cause the capacitance touch sensors to operate erratically.

Also make sure you have the latest firmware update.

Touch pad is just above the red led on the right side of the screen. There is On/Off, Channel Up & Down, Volume Up & Down and Source. If you look close you can see the symbols. When you touch any of the sensors the all symbols are illuminated.

Mine just started doing the exact same thing and I don't know what the cause is. Any update on your situation?

I had same issue with LN52A650
Dec 31, 2008 8:45AM PST

I this exact same issue with my TV. I just got it back from repair and they said they replaced the whole LCD panel and the T-Con board.

It is working so far.

I doubt firmware will fix this. If you are not getting any picture, how could you update the firmware anyway.
