Samsung 720 plasma scrolling lines

by soxgirl09 / February 1, 2009 10:12 PM PST

Model PN41A450--we can see scrolling purplish lines constantly rolling up the screen while watching certain channels. We have comcast for our cable provider. It's not a problem when watching DVDs or playing the PS3. What could be the issue and a possible solution to this. Thanks.

Scrolling lines

soxgirl09,

If it's happening on certain channels, it's likely that it's a cable box connection and not the television. You might want to notify your local cable company and see if they can do a remote reset on your box or apply any applicable firmware updates to the cable box.

Keep me posted!

Mine does it too ....it is about 9 months old and just noticed it.
Made some brightness adjustments to help a little which it did. I can see it on HD Channels (not quite as ba as regular TV). I have Charter Cable and they have reset my signal and it is still there.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
