Question

samsung 7100 smart tv web browser

Dec 15, 2012 4:00AM PST

I have a samsung smart tv. I am able to use apps such as twitter, fb, netflix, etc., so I am connected to my wireless network. BUT, whenever I try to open the WEB BROWSER app.... it just goes into an updating mode..... and never opens.
What do I need to do?

So the faster answer is to call Samsung and ask. Here's what I know. Be sure your TV has the latest firmware and that you signed into Smart Hub. And that the router's firewall is turned off for the test.

There are other settings we can change as noted in the CNET Networking Forum "Samsung Owners Start Here." But Samsung deserves all the phone calls when they flub.

Thank you for the replies to my problem.
I actually did reset everything the next morning and VOILA!! The browser updated with no problem. Everything has worked beautifully since this! I LOVE this television! I am so pleased with all my samsung products....tv, camera, phone, and more to come!
Thank you!!!
