Samsung 65" Curved UHD LED TV

When I press the "menu" button on my smart remote it doesn't appear on the TV screen? It's like the menu is invisible because the remote pointer shows up along with a "close box" in the top right corner?

But on over 32 inch models, Samsung sends out repair folk if needed. To speed things along, in the USA try 1800SAMSUNG and it shouldn't take long.

I've already called then and all they told me was to do a remote reset..
Still didn't help and they are sending me a new remote. But I don't think the remote is the problem

My next stop would be the store to try out their display model. Or if this is not the support you expected, start the return process as it's defective.

I didn't find a good manual for that model so I can't check out what the remote should do.

You've done almost everything right. How are you able to do anything without the menu to set it up?

I have had the menu show up before... Just for some reason today I click on it and it doesn't show... But the cursor shows up on the screen as well as a close box.... And my smart hub button works and everything else. I've even tried resetting the TV to factory settings with it off by pressing "menu, mute,info,power" and still nothing is appearing.... Just seams very odd

You can take up juggling. Sorry, I wish it was some setting but what manuals I found didn't tell me it was a setting.

Here's a thought. See if Samsung issued a smart phone app to control the TV.
