thanks I tried to get help there, they told me it was a bad ground and or something to close to the tv making it flicker like a strobe light. Its been in the same spot for a year with nothing changed so I don't know why it decided to start now. The email I registered the tv in is alfredbj@bellsouth.net .. I may have extended warranty on it I can't find the papers just yet. Samsung probably just has a one year warranty. It has a beautiful picture when it's working correctly. I just believe It's giving me problems already. Thanks

Hi Bob,

Not a terrible guess, but the issue has been localized to 2012 TVs that have Smart Hub, which would E models, and this is a C model. Also, the symptom is far different.

So undunsome's issue is very likely going to need to be resolved by a service call.

I am only loosely aware of exact models and such but as I wrote, someone was yelping flashing and it was syncplus for them. An over reaction over statement in my opinion but I thought I'd run it up the flag pole even if I was wrong.

Thanks for the clarification.

The whole screen was flashing, it hasn't done it again and it's been two days .I'm sure it will wait to do it again when my warranty has run out. Thanks

If it's still in warranty can you extend the warranty?

It's like insurance. Some like to have it.
