kachangmd,
C|Net has just launched a forum specific for televisions and settings here:
http://forums.cnet.com/5204-19410_102-0.html?forumID=150&tag=mncol;txt
It's still new, so there might not be settings for your television as of yet, but if you track the thread of your model, you should receive a notification whenever someone does post their settings. It's a new concept that C|Net put together, and I believe it will be extremely valuable in the upcoming weeks.
As far as the "background" images in the picture being blurry, it may have more to do with the transmission of the broadcast than the actual panel. When the digital signal is sent, it is often times compressed. This constant zip/unzip process can cause the picture to not be as good as a constant steady stream, like for instance, Blu-Ray. The television is designed to process these imperfections in signal quality, however, some of the responsibility lies in the compression of the picture as it's sent to your house.
I hope that sheds a little light on the situation. Let me know if I can help with anything else.

I was wondering if you could tell me the best settings for my Samsung A52A630 to optimize HD content. When the 120mHz option is on high - the images look awesome but background/foreground and motion seems jagged and unnatural. Does the setting effect viewing on non HD channels?
