Dec 22, 2014 11:10AM PST

I have had this tv exactly 2 years and notice a blue vertical line almost in the center of the TV. Is this a serious problem. I've seen other threads with same problem, but there is no solutions to problem. Any one out there that can help??
Thanks
C.

That some user serviceable item or setting. It's been fixed many times by folk I know that do TV repair. And no, again, it's not always this or that so it won't matter what it was the last dozen times. That can upset folk but yes, Samsung does have service (at least in my country.)

Update on 2 year old Samsung 51inch 3d TV PN51E8000
Jan 9, 2015 1:12AM PST

Service guy was out to look at TV. It's a serious problem. I'm waiting to see if they are going to fix( $1000.00 repair) or issue me a new tv, or give me a credit to Paul's TV for a credit. It's been almost 2 weeks waiting on a solution. Thank god my TV is viewable, if it wasn't I would be a very disgusted and upset consumer. Dealing with these extended warranty company's are like dealing with the RMV. You need some serious patients. I would advise anyone who buys a TV to purchase a extended warranty, just hopefully the company you have to deal with won't take their time on your file or case. I need a new board and a new screen. I have a Sony I purchase in 2004( first 720p lcd hd TV still working til this day). I got 2 years out of this Samsung!! Terrible
