Samsung 50" DLP White Dots Issue Unresolved.

chat ID: LTK56402234883X

Model #: HLT5076SX/XAA

The issue started MONTHS ago...there were only one, then two, then three...slowly but surely they worked their way ALL over the screen! I guess NOW I have a lamp issue...which is fine...I'll replace that...but the White Dots...that's an obvious defect (DMD/DLP chip, mainboard?) as there are thousands of others with the same issue...

I need some help with this and so do the other 1000's of loyal Samsung customers...I mean...I just got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1...please don't make me with another brand because of some poor customer service.

I would hate to put Samsung (a great company IMHO) in that spot...but if it's the ONLY way to get this resolved...I guess I will have to do it.

Steven: If your unit exhibits white dots appearing on the screen on all sources and channels, Samsung will provide a onetime courtesy repair to replace the DMD chip. However, should the issue not be related to the DMD chip, you will be offered an estimate for repair and be responsible for the trip charge. Do you consent to these conditions?

LOL...these guys are funny..

So I am going to get the repair guys over here to replace the DMP chip. If successful, I will report this RESOLVED.
