Samsung 42" Plasma power supply

by Cindy3604 / July 30, 2009 8:52 AM PDT

I've read the different questions and answers about getting just a clicking noise instead of my tv coming on. It does come on, stays on for a few seconds, (I do get a picture), then goes to the "click" situation and I am assuming it is the power supply.
What is the cost related to replacing? I'm very disappointed in your product as this tv just came out of warranty and I don't know whether I want to spend money to fix it on top of the cost to own it. I know I won't buy another Samsung in the future!

The t.v. is approximately 1 1/2 yrs old but I can't locate my receipt which means I'll have to repair myself. I just want to know an approximate cost so I can decide whether to fix or junk it.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
