Samsung 40h6400 smart remote problem

Hi,so i have recently purchased samsung 40h6400 tv with smart remote,and after i pair my remote with tv,smart cursor function doesnt workSad it says that if i put finger on it the cursor should appear but it never does..watched youtube video on how topair and use it..it still doesnt work..if anyone has any suggestions please help..

If they can't make it work, get another model. If online, choices vary but sets larger than 32 inch get in home service from Samsung in my country so you dial up 1800SAMSUNG and have them do their thing.

Yes it's annoying it doesn't work out of the box but manufacturers seem to be shipping unfinished product. That is, the call to Samsung (my bet) will have to check/install new firmware and factory reset, setup again before they send service. That is, the product does not arrive current and ready to use.
