Check your firewall isn't blocking the TV's multicast packets (on port 1900). If you have a working Internet connection, there's nothing more to do on the TV - it will announce its presence to other devices on the network, unless something (firewall or router) is blocking it.
I have a Samsung LN40B650 which supports DLNA. If I run the Samsung PC Share Manager on my PC, it cannot find my TV.
I've plugged an ethernet cable at the back of the TV and i do have internet (youtube widgets etc). But now i want to make use of the DLNA feature.
In PC Share Manager i got the server running but when i want to "Set Device Policy" (may be wrong with translating hehe) it wont list my TV The PC is running windows xp SP3 and is connected to the router, windows firewall is disabled.
Pressing the MEDIA.P button gives the message: No device connected or atleast something like that.
Do i need to enable something at the TV? i think im forgetting something.
My apologies for my english.
Hope you can help me out.
