We know Costco doubles the warranty and some CCs do too. Since it's OOW (out of warranty) try the usual and ask to extend the warranty, pay for that and then make the next call for repair. Cheaper then OOW repair unless it's a cracked screen (which puts you OOW again.)

We bought our 3D tv in December 2013 and it has now developed vertical lines which from experience I know means it probably can't be fixed.
It is only just over a year old but I have been told I will have to pay for a repair and that there is no discretion to extend the warranty even though it was manufactured in October 2013 and we didn't buy it until December 2013.
I am disgusted and I have read on other forums that Samsung does have the discretion to extend this as surely they are supposed to last more than a year?
Any help would be very much appreciated
