Samsung 3D TV 7 series and BD-C6900 Volume issue

by shantanuw / August 5, 2010 7:17 AM PDT

Last month I bought Samsung 3D TV 7 series with BD-C6900 Blue Ray disc player as a bundle with the glasses.
I am noticing a huge difference in the Blue Ray disc sound. I have to turn it up to full to listen to the movie. I do not have a home theater system at home. I am using Monster HDMI cables to connect my TV to BD Player.
However, when I play my TV channels or play movies thru USB, the volume is good enough.

Has anyone faced this problem? I do not plan to buy any home theater system as of now. Any inputs???

similar problem here

nowadays you would expect harmonic sound levels from the BR player and the TV. My BD-C5500 (hdmi) connected to a recent C-series 6 TV needs some volume up to understand movie *voices*, but still, especially the misalignment between voice/background sound sometimes is disturbing and the sound is never as balanced as it is with broadcasting TV.

I know of the auto-dynamic setting in the player's menu but turning that off makes the situation even more craz - tiny voices on loud background noise.

There is no HT here - I am just on TV speakers output!

Samsung BD-C6900 Volume problem

I am having the same volume issue. The tv volume is fine, but the volume on all bluray and dvds played is very low. Even with the volume level turned up to 100, it's still low. I've exchanged the unit at Best Buy, but the new one is the same way. Samsung has not been able to help at all. They had me change a couple of settings and replace the hdmi cable, which did not work. So they told me to exchange it, but still not resolved.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
