Samsung 27"LCD slow to power up

I bought this TV at Best Buy on July 19 of last year (200. About a week ago it began starting slow. I turn it on and get sound but no picture, and the screen slowly starts to get lighter, then finally after 5 or 10 minutes the picture comes on.

My question is, how do I get Samsung to extend my warranty? I realize I am past the year, but only by less than 60 days. If it were 3 or 4 years old, I'd feel a little better about it but a TV should last more than a year.

Your help in how to get this fixed is appreciated.

Sorry to hear that you're having issues. You may be able to extend the warranty by registering it at Samsung.com. Here's the link:

After that, call 800-SAMSUNG and inquire about a repair.
