it looks good to you. The real estate you gain with vga isn't all that much (you might not even be able to tell the difference).
I have an older Pentium w/ an ATI AGP card - Radeon 7500. I recent upgraded the monitor to Samsung LCD 2343BWX and have connected using the DVI connector. My graphics card only supports going up to 1920 x 1080 at 32 bit color; the optimal resolution for the monitor is 2048x1152. Will the VGA connection (which is analog I believe) be better or stick with DVI at lower res?
